Original story follows:
The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 smoke continues to gather ahead of the timer on the series’ website hitting zeros later today, with a prominent leaker now having claimed to have revealed the release date of the game – as well as details about different editions of it.
This leak, which follows the spotting of a rating for THPS 3 + 4 on the website of the Singaporean Infocomm Media Development Authority last month, comes from Billbil-kun – a user with a strong track record.
According to the leaker, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is set to release on July 11. So, that’d give you about four months to wait for your chance to drop into some familiar parks and definitely not fall off your board in embarrassing fashion.
Along with that, Billbil-kun claims that it’ll be available via three diferent editions – a standard edition, deluxe edition, and a collector’s edition, with the latter two allegedly offering three days of early access. According to the leaker, the prices for these will be $49.99, $69.99, and $129.99.
They also claim to know some of the extra stuff the deluxe edition will offer, and it sounds like it’ll be a treat for Doom lovers, with Doom slayer and revenant skaters, a hoverboard resembling the Unmaykr, and some extra music in there. Pre-ordering any edition will also allegedly net you a Wireframe Tony shader and access to a demo featuring Foundry, the first level from THPS 3.
We’ll have to wait and see if this stuff is true at 6PM GMT/1PM ET/10AM PT today, with that being the time when that aforementioned official timer is set to expire. For now, though, it’s looking about as promising as things like this can.
